The Work
About the work
Artist TSG
There are people who know your routine, your job and your public expression, yet have never asked what it feels like to be you. SEEN brings two searching eyes forward through a face broken into vivid colour. The surrounding fragments suggest the many experiences that never fit inside a quick introduction. Its story is the relief of meeting someone who pays attention long enough to notice more. The gaze holds the viewer in that possibility: being recognised as a whole person, with contradictory feelings, unfinished hopes and a life that continues beyond what is immediately visible.
Art style: Abstract figurative painting
Themes: Recognition, complexity, intimacy
Collection: The Human Collection
