The Work
About the work
Artist TSG
Three figures in white, yellow and blue stumble and dance across a deep blue ground, mouths open and limbs thrown wide. RESTLESS SOUL is loud in colour and raw in line, with stitched outlines that make each body look patched together and still in motion. The figures seem caught between panic and celebration, as if they cannot tell which one they are feeling. Read personally, it is the sleepless night, the nervous energy before change, or the urge to keep moving because stillness feels harder. The long panoramic format lets that restlessness run from one edge of the canvas to the other.
