The Work
About the work
Artist TSG
The city rises higher than the child can yet imagine living. TOMORROW holds the distance between present circumstances and a possible future in one quiet encounter. The bright clothing gives the child a presence the buildings cannot absorb. Its story belongs to the first student in a family, the child watching adults leave for work, or anyone who once looked at a world that seemed closed to them. Ambition begins before a plan exists. Sometimes it begins simply with looking, and with someone nearby believing that the person doing the looking deserves a chance.
