The Work
About the work
Artist TSG
People who love one another do not always want the same future at the same time. STILL CONNECTED turns its two profiles away from each other while pale lines keep travelling between them. The blue circle offers a shared space large enough to hold their difference. Its story may belong to siblings in different countries, partners negotiating change, or friends whose lives have taken separate routes. Closeness becomes something more deliberate than constant proximity: remembering, calling, allowing the other person to grow, and discovering which parts of a bond survive the distance.
Art style: Surreal figurative painting
Themes: Distance, love, individuality
