The Work
About the work
Artist TSG
The day has finished on paper, but your thoughts are still moving through it. AFTER HOURS gathers dark structures and bright bands into an abstract city of lingering attention. Blue creates distance while yellow, orange and coral suggest windows, routes and small destinations. Its personal story is the journey between public responsibility and private life: the walk, drive or quiet pause in which a person begins to leave work behind. The painting makes that transition feel worthy of notice, recognising how much of a life takes place in the spaces between its official events.
