The Work
About the work
Artist TSG
The figure leans into a movement larger than her body, while circles of colour seem to release what has been gathering inside. UNFOLDING imagines a person rediscovering expression after a long season of restraint. It might begin with dancing alone, returning to creative work, or saying something true without immediately softening it. The dark body grounds the image; the loose lines allow thought and feeling to travel. Its personal story is a gradual permission to be visible. She does not have to arrive fully certain. Opening a little more is already a beginning.
